At ISI Demolition, community service is more than a checkbox—it’s part of who we are. This year, we were honored to join NAIOP Maryland and fellow volunteers in a powerful show of gratitude and support for our nation’s service members.
As a Commander’s Level Sponsor of the USO’s Care Package Assembly Event, our team took part in assembling 2,000 care packages in just one afternoon. These packages were filled with thoughtfully selected items—snacks, toiletries, and comfort items—intended to offer a reminder of home to those deployed far from it.
To mark the occasion, ISI raised a large American flag high above the event site using one of our high-reach Volvo Construction Equipment excavators. It was a bold, visual tribute to the dedication, strength, and sacrifice of our military personnel—and a reminder of the shared commitment from those of us here at home.

“When the opportunity came up to support the USO alongside NAIOP Maryland, we didn’t hesitate. It was incredible to see our team come together—not just to represent ISI, but to show our appreciation for the men and women who serve our country. Raising the flag from our high-reach was a proud moment, and being part of such a meaningful day reminded all of us why community involvement matters.”
ISI Demolition Team Spirit
Our team showed up in full force—and full color—for the USO Care Package Assembly. Dressed in red, white, and blue, ISI Demolition team members brought energy, enthusiasm, and a deep sense of pride to the event. Their presence was a reminder that behind every project we take on is a team that believes in service, both on the job site and in the community.

2,000 Care Packages. One Afternoon.
The care packages themselves are more than boxes—they’re personal messages of thanks. Each one reflects the appreciation we feel for the men and women who serve and protect our freedoms.
We’re proud to have been part of such a meaningful effort and grateful to the USO and NAIOP Maryland for organizing the day. Events like this remind us that service comes in many forms—and that, together, we can make a tangible difference.
